Janet Charron

Janet commenced her legal career as a Constable with the O.P.P. and worked in the Traffic Division, Intelligence/Drug Enforcement Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, Uniform Division and Community Services Unit. She also earned her Breathalyzer Technician Certification from the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto. After working 9 years as a police officer Janet left policing and embarked on a career in the Crown Attorney’s office as a Provincial Prosecutor and was primarily responsible for traffic court prosecutions. She then worked as a Prosecutor for the City of London in traffic court prosecutions, and as a Prosecutor in animal cruelty cases for the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Janet has contributed to paralegal education as program chair and guest lecturer at the Law Society of Ontario, Toronto. Janet was also a consultant on the accreditation and implementation of Fanshawe College’s Paralegal Studies Program. In addition to being a full time traffic ticket defence agent, Janet continues to work at the Law Society of Ontario, Toronto, on the Paralegal Licensing Exam Advisory Group.
