Any speeding conviction whether it is for 15 km’s over the posted speed limit or 55 km’s over the posted speed limit will have a negative impact on insurance
Other Penalties
If convicted of Speeding in a construction zone with workers present, your fine may double. A Novice Licence holder will be subject to a licence suspension if convicted of a 4 demerit point speeding ticket. If any driver is convicted of speeding greater than 50 km per hour over the speed limit, the Court may impose a licence suspension.
