Early Resolution

Understand this court procedure to determine if it's right for you

About The Procedure

Early Resolution (Option 2 – Meet with Prosecutor) is an option offered in some jurisdictions in Ontario.

The Police Officer may have recommended you try this option. However, it is important to remember that the Police Officer and Prosecutor work as a team and are your adversary in court.

The Prosecutor does not work for you and is not concerned with the consequences you face after pleading guilty to a traffic ticket.

Your POINTTS representative does work for you and is concerned with the potential consequences you face.

We will work hard for you throughout the Early Resolution process and protect your interests.

We also attend court for you, so you don’t need to take time out of your busy day to be there in person.

With POINTTS on your side, we assess the strength of the case against you and consider your possible defences.  We will then determine a plan to give you the best chance to get your ticket reduced or dismissed in court.

We make sure you have the information you need to make an informed decision.

Even if you have already filed your ticket under Early Resolution or already have an Early Resolution meeting date set, it’s not too late to contact POINTTS for your free consultation.
